Spiritual Wickedness Over Baltimore

"For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." [Ephesians 6:12 NLT]
There's something going on with the city of Baltimore right now. As spiritual people who are connected to an all wise and all-knowing God, we have an obligation to attune our ears to what's happening in the spiritual realm over our cities and regions.
Last week, I put up an article about the witches of Baltimore—not knowing that just a few days later Baltimore would once again be getting worldwide attention for its crime and poverty issues—particularly West Baltimore.
Other than Chicago, no other American city has received more negative news coverage than Baltimore. Something's happening in the spiritual world—and Baltimore is at the epicenter of it.
But what is it?
I enjoy doing research about cities, learning their history and understanding the spiritual forces at work in the area. Since 2015, I've traveled all over America, studying our cities, learning their spiritual atmospheres, and understanding why the churches there seem to be so hindered and boxed in when it comes to having a more effective reach on the communities they serve.
Like, why are there SO many churches in black neighborhoods, yet so much crime and poverty? Why aren't our churches having a stronger impact to turn things around?
One thing I've noticed about Baltimore City are the witches. Witchcraft proliferates among black people in Baltimore: especially among black women. The article I shared last week is a stark reminder of this.
One reason for this may have something to do with Baltimore's nickname: Charm City.
In the world of the occult, to charm means to control someone using magic, sorcery and witchcraft. A charm, as in a piece of jewelry worn on a person's body, is used in the occult to invoke the help of a demon.
Baltimore seems to have an attachment or connection to some type of occultism. Take Druid Hill Park for example. Druids were pagan occultists of ancient Britain who practiced a type of European version of Baal worship, complete with human sacrifices, sex rituals, etc.
Hills in the occult were used as places to build altars on in order to open a portal into the spirit realm, for the purpose of calling demonic spirits to consult with. So why would they name that park DRUID HILL?
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of bad things take place in that park, which my wife who's from Baltimore has already confirmed to be the case.
Then there's the Patapsco River. In a book I wrote called WET, I talked about the presence of spirits that live in rivers, lakes and other bodies of water. These spirits, often referred to as marine spirits, can have a strong influence on the health, vitality and morality of the communities that live around them.
Remember the story in the Bible about Legion, when the demons begged Jesus to go into the pigs instead of being sent into the depths of the sea? Demons can live in large bodies of water; especially large rivers.
In another book I wrote called WITCH, I shared several stories involving modern witches from Baltimore who did unspeakable crimes. Again: I went wherever the research led, not knowing B'more would once again be highlighted prominently in the news.
Wherever there is high crime, filth and grinding poverty that oppresses the masses, look for evidence of the occult. They always go hand in hand.
This is what's happening in the city of Baltimore right now. Something is being stirred up in the spirit realm; and I believe Jesus is about to clean up to some things.
Keep the city in your prayers. And brush up on your spiritual knowledge and insight so your prayers can be pinpointed and effective. Pray for them sincerely, in the privacy of your own home, prayer group or church. And let’s activate the powers of God's Heavenly Throne against the unfruitful works of darkness at work within the city.
We can win this generation and ALL of our cities if we just get more focused, take our faith more seriously and use the awesome supernatural power that's available to us through Jesus Christ.
