Wishing On A Star: the social structure of the heavens and divine higher beings

author | Mack Major

When people wish on a fallen star, whether they know it or not they are wishing on a fallen angel. They're wishing on a satanic agent from the supernatural realm. Satan has angels too. And The Bible describes them in Revelation 12:7-9:

"Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. This great dragon--the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down to the earth with all his angels." NLT

Over and over again throughout this verse we are told that Satan has his angels too. An angel is a divine being from a higher dimension than our own, who can operate interdimensionally between multiple planes of existence. Angels weren't born: they were created. They are often referred to as the sons of God, as in Job 1:6:

"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them."

Satan managed to corrupt a number of these angels, believed to possibly be estimated at one third. This is a staggering revelation, considering The Bible tells us there are more angels than humans—literally innumerable.

"But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels..." Hebrews 12:22

"A stream of fire issued and came out from before Him; a thousand thousands served Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him; the court sat in judgment, and the books were opened" Daniel 7:10

Let's think about that: If there are seven billion humans alive on Earth and we each had an angel assigned to us as children according to Jesus' own words in Matthew 18:10, that would at least account for seven billion angels. That would mean that at least 2.33 billion angels allowed themselves to be swayed by Satan into rebelling against Father God!

"Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth." Revelation 12:3-4

Stars in the Bible are always directly tied to angelic forces in heavenly realms. I know this may sound like some fantasy world or something, but its not. Angels are real. God is real. Demons are real. And so are fallen angels.

That alone would be a staggering number: but the number is most likely ten or even a hundred times as many. God deals with numbers far beyond our human ability to calculate. Take for example the number of cells that occupy the human body alone. That number has yet to be calculated and can only at best be estimated.

This is why we have to be aware of such things such as wishing on a falling star, lest we be guilty of teaching our children how to partake in occult practices like wishing on fallen angels, which God has outlawed and cast out from His presence.

"For God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, in gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the day of judgment." 2 Peter 2:4

Fallen angels are angelic beings that sided with Satanic forces in rebellion against almighty God and His divine order. They are beings of a different world than ours—a higher world, created higher in social order than mankind. Under Satan's guidance and leadership they sought to topple God's order that acts as an umbrella over the entire universal created life of all worlds and realms. They wished to institute a new order, still divine in nature because it was created by divine beings - but no longer divine in the sense that God created the order. As a result of their actions there has been divine civil war throughout the universe for eons. Into this backdrop mankind was created.

Mankind was created by God to wrap up the divine disorder, judge it and utterly put down the entire angelic rebellion. The wars and disorder on Earth are just a reflection of the wars taking place in higher spiritual dimensions than our own. *see Hebrews 2:14 and 1 Corinthians 6:3*

God tasked the angels with helping and assisting mankind in our development here on Earth, without directly interfering in our choices or affairs unless necessary or ordered to do so by God Himself.

People often refer to Satan as an angel. Angel in the sense of being a supernatural being from a different world and dimension from our own—yes. But not angel in rank and file or social structure. To be honest, Satan would be considered a god in social structure.

"Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God." 2 Corinthians 4:4

He's higher than humankind. Higher than much of angelkind. Not the highest: for there are other angels of an even higher order that have varying degrees of greater strength or abilities than Satan does. Yet Satan retains certain powers and abilities that he now uses to deceive both man and angels.

And many of the angels are ranked higher in order and social structure than others. There are angels that are older and far more ancient than others that were created by God much later. These higher order of angels would actually be considered and referred to as gods too. They are called divine dignitaries, mentioned all throughout the Bible, particularly in the New Testament. It was one such angel that the aging Apostle John fell down at his feet to worship when he was being given the revelation about end times events.

"Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10

John was completely overcome by the beauty, appearance and awesome splendor of this divine being and what he was showing to John. I can totally understand why John would do this, having experienced an awesome visitation from a divine angelic being myself before. Their splendor when in their glorified form is unspeakable, as it has no earthly equivalent.

There are also divisions of angels. Angels are divided into nations, just like humans are. This is why Satan is known as he who weakened the nations.(Isaiah 14:12) This isn't just a reference to human nations. It's also a reference to angelic ones as well.

Angels have their own planets, just as Earth is the planet that humans inhabit. They have an entirely different plane or dimension of existence than our own. They have governmental structures there, just as we do here. They even have their own kings, princes, judges and rulers. Some of the angels such as Michael who is mentioned in the Bible specifically by name, are considered kings of angels. They are highly exalted rulers. There are angels that sit on thrones to rule over other angels, ensuring that justice and the governmental structure created by God that rules over all of His creation is firmly in place to keep order in the Universes.

It was such angels referred to as Watchers that called down to the human King Nebuchadnezzar and decreed he should lose his mind seven years because he felt he didn't need to give God the praise for giving him a successful kingdom.

"This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers And the decision is a command of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, And bestows it on whom He wishes And sets over it the lowliest of men." Daniel 4:17

Notice this decree was not from God directly Himself: it was from the angelic Watchers. They convened and made this proclamation against King Nebuchadnezzar, as a lesson to humankind that its God in Heaven—not we ourselves—who rules over life on Earth. We are just part of His management team! So whatever you have, whatever I have, its really not ours. It all belongs to God. We're just placed in charge of managing His property, and will be judged, rewarded or denied rewards based on how faithful and well we carried out our duties as managers.
